Hi, I’m Shanakay Millington — Business Strategy Coach, mum of two, published author, international speaker, and Founder of the 

Boss Up Accelerator Club.

Not too long ago, I was where so many mums find themselves: stuck in the corporate grind, juggling long hours, motherhood, and the nagging thought that there had to be more to life. On the outside, it looked like I had it together — but behind the scenes, I was exhausted, unfulfilled, and constantly worrying about the “what ifs.” What if something happened to my job? What if I couldn’t give my family the stability they deserved?

The wake-up call came when I missed yet another milestone in my children’s lives because of work. That day, I promised myself I would never let my career stop me from being present for the people I love most. That decision sparked the beginning of my coaching journey — and changed everything.

I started my business while still working my 9–5, determined to build something that gave me freedom, choice, and joy. It wasn’t easy — but it was possible. And now, it’s the same possibility I help other mums create.

Today, I’m proud to wear many hats:

• Published Author and International Speaker — sharing stages and stories that inspire women to step fiercely into their power
